I manage the entire IT operations alone, ensuring smooth system performance and reliable support for staff. My responsibilities include server administration, virtualization, and managing Microsoft 365 services to enhance workplace productivity. I also handle website updates, social media content, and PBX systems to improve communication and engagement. Additionally, I provide training to employees to boost digital proficiency across the organization.

During my recent career break, I relocated to Chetwynd, BC, Canada, embracing new challenges and opportunities for personal growth. While settling into a new community and working at the local store, I proactively invested in my professional development by enrolling in online courses in Web Development and Cyber Security. This period allowed me to build technical skills essential for today’s digital landscape, demonstrating adaptability, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to continuous learning.

At Shiptek, I led a backend development team in building logistics solutions using .NET, NodeJS, and AWS. I played a key role in architecting scalable microservices, integrating payment systems, and ensuring seamless API communication across platforms. By conducting code reviews and driving Agile practices, I improved collaboration, workflow efficiency, and software quality. I also managed the company’s cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance and cost optimization.

I developed full-stack applications with Java Spring Boot and ReactJS to support large-scale marketing campaigns. My work included optimizing PostgreSQL databases, debugging critical issues, and ensuring applications were scalable and maintainable. I collaborated closely with QA and stakeholders to streamline development processes, resulting in faster delivery of features. As part of Agile teams, I contributed technical expertise to enhance product reliability and performance.

I enhanced and maintained sports betting platforms and websites, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. My role included database management with MSSQL and Redis, optimizing data processes to reduce latency and improve recovery. Through backend improvements, I helped ensure stable real-time operations for business-critical systems.

I provided server administration and security support, including migrating from Windows to Linux and setting up firewalls. I also implemented monitoring systems to prevent downtime and optimize system reliability. Alongside backend work, I improved application features to fix bugs and enhance performance for better user experiences.

I modernized internal systems by migrating the company’s HRIS and payroll applications to PHP CodeIgniter and Bootstrap. I also built and maintained the corporate website and mail servers to strengthen communication and accessibility. Additionally, I supported infrastructure upgrades by moving physical servers to VMware, improving efficiency and scalability.

At Amertron, I developed reporting tools for the Manufacturing Execution System and automated accounting processes to reduce manual work. I also managed servers, PCs, and networking equipment to ensure smooth operations across the facility. My dual role in development and IT support allowed me to deliver reliable software solutions while maintaining critical infrastructure.
